Our Story

Hi, I’m Carla, an obsessed dog mum to my fur baby… Buddy! Our very own energetic, food loving, playful chocolate lab. 

Inspired by my own personal experience, ‘The Wedding Buddy’ was created following my wedding day in July 2023. Like many pet owners, I had always dreamed of having our beloved dog, Buddy, by my side sharing all those special moments with us. However, logistical challenges and the pressure and stress on us and our guests to look after him on our big day, made it impossible for Buddy to attend, leaving a huge void in our otherwise perfect day, with no wagging tail, sloppy kisses or photos to look back on in the following years to come.

This experience ignited my passion to ensure that other couples wouldn’t have to face the same disappointment on their special day, leading to the creation of ‘The Wedding Buddy’. 

A tailored service of love and care, I aim to bring a personal touch to every wedding, driven by my own experience and love for dogs, including my own, Buddy. I have a passion and dedication to making sure no pet owner has to miss out on sharing their wedding day with their furry companion.
